Everything You need to know about Swedish Massage

From time to time we all need a massage, wether is getting our friends or our partners to give us a rub down. But those are nothing in comparison to a professional massage. Now not many of us have actually experienced those. For all the newbies getting into the professional massage world, it’s highly recommended that you start off with a Swedish massage.

A Swedish massage is a classic that gives you all the relaxation you need. It’s all about 5 different strokes that are suited to unlock those knots you may have. This massage is suitable for all even those who are sensitive to touch, it’s sure to leave you feeling as light as a feather!

Remember this is a professional massage, to get that unlocked feeling. The masseuses will use soothing aromatherapy oils of your choice.

Followed by 5 different stokes to help relax the various layers of muscle tissue through the body. These include;

Effleurage- Using the palm of the hands they would glide up and down. To evaluate your targeted area.
Petrissage – This is where the body is gently kneaded and rolling the area that needs to be worked on
Friction – This is a warming stroke, aimed to generate heat on the affected areas. It’s done by applying pressure into the direct muscle fibre or in small circular motions.
Vibration- At this stage is all to do with the fingertip
Tapotement- This is a percussive stroke

At Sole Beauty, we are known for performing some of the most relaxing Swedish massages around. With highly trained professional that would modify the treatments to your targeted areas to reduce tension and stress
