Self-care

Self-care, it’s a trendy topic right now with everyone on social media wanting to have a say whether its #selfcare or #BeKind. It’s fair to say most of us care, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start on the journey. Lets us help you out! 

  1. Self Care is exactly what it sounds like-taking care of oneself. We are all so busy taking care of everyone else, and sometimes we forget the most important person which is ourself. Sometimes we feel guilty for having some time to ourselves but we shouldn’t. Self-care is a priority, and it’s your responsibility. 
  2. Sure, you’ve heard you are what you eat. Well, it’s true, what you eat can affect you physically and emotionally.  When you eat the right food you keep your mind and body working. Some of the most amazing self-care foods include fatty fish, blueberries, nuts, green leafy veggies, and brassicas, like broccoli.
  3. Laughter is the best medicine for anything. Now don’t take this literally. But we’ve all heard that laughing can help you live longer. In the journey to self-care take 10-15mins a day to find something to laugh about. Why not try not to laugh challenges. Now those are real challenges.
  4. When you look good you feel good. That’s one of the mottos here at Sole Beauty. We are not talking about looking Instagram ready or anything that likes. But looking good in your vision can change the way you see the world. Even having a bit of pampering done can change the way you feel. 

Now, of course, there is more to self-care, but remember it’s a journey. Take your time, its okay to have bad days. Let the process takes its course, we can’t get there all at ones but if you take its one day at a time you’ll be sure to find the peace your looking for.
